Description:
This firmware update is only for HP LaserJet Pro CP1025 Color Printer (CE913A). It will install the latest version available for this model.
Fix and enhancements:
1. Added the "RFU" item to the "Code Security" selection of the "Service" menu to control remote firmware updates. The options are "On", "Off", and "Off and Locked". The default value is "On" - permitting firmware updates. The value can be changed using the buttons on the control panel:
Hold Go and Yellow for 10 seconds – until ready and attention LED's start to blink
When buttons are released one of the CMK lights will illuminate indicating what the current RFU setting is
Black = Locked
Cyan = Off/Disabled
Magenta = On/Enabled
Press the toner button for the setting that is desired
Press the Go/Cancel button again to save changes
2. This firmware version installs code signing verification functionality. Firmware signed by HP guarantees the integrity and authenticity of the code; meaning that the firmware was produced by HP (authenticity) and that the firmware has not been altered in any way (integrity).
3. Fixed a corruption issue when turning on and off wireless function while printing.
